IFR By Imran Rafid

Version 0.9.0 — experimental repair build. Not validated as a complete commercial product.

Install

  1. Stop any old run and disable previous IFR copies.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions), enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked and choose IFR-By-Imran-Rafid-v0.9.0-LOAD-THIS-FOLDER.
  3. Review Chrome's debugger permission yourself. It allows control of the Facebook tab during a run.
  4. Refresh Facebook, set its language to English and open your own profile → Friends → All friends. Click IFR. Check that the header says v0.9.0.

All Unfriend

Choose All Unfriend. Check loaded matches previews only currently loaded, supported rows. Start runs sequentially and scrolls for more. Unsupported rows can be skipped; reaching a scroll limit is not proof that every friend was found. There is no automatic undo.

No Profile Picture

Select this mode and choose a loaded friend whose avatar you have visually confirmed is the default blank picture, or paste that friend's profile link for lookup in your friends list. Save the reference, then check loaded matches before Start. Matching uses explicit default labels, image data where readable or the exact image URL. Broken, unloaded or unreadable images remain unknown; the extension cannot guarantee detecting every blank avatar.

6 months / 1 year

The collector previews supported recent posts and their current reactors/commenters. A reaction OR comment protects a person. This does not establish complete activity history, including interactions on older posts. Reviewing a post list does not enable inactivity removal. The requested automatic full-history filter is not complete. Advanced history JSON is a custom input format, not a file Facebook automatically supplies; a completeness flag is not independent verification.

Work in another window

The minus button minimizes the panel. Drag the header, resize the bottom corner, or dock to either side. Keep Facebook and its browser open. The worker uses focus emulation, timers, discard protection and a system-awake request during a run; it releases them on Stop/completion. Actual minimized/background removal has not been verified for this build. If Facebook does not load, IFR reports Error instead of waiting forever. Closing the panel stops the run.

Counts and errors

A vanished row alone is not counted as a removal. IFR requires an Add friend state associated with the same profile. If Facebook removes the row without showing that state, IFR stops with an unverified-removal message; check Facebook before retrying. A request may have succeeded even when the counter did not increase.

Data stays in extension storage. 99 automated tests passed on 22 October 2026; these use simulated pages and do not prove compatibility with every Facebook layout.
